"Never Let You Go: Unplugged at the Cabin" reworks the original into a more intimate acoustic-led session, keeping some of its bite while bringing the performance closer to the room.
The doo-wop flavour of the original is drawn back into a rawer, more personal setting, with guitars, close vocals and a looser live-session feel. It is quieter and less polished, but not completely stripped clean. There is still a little grit under the fingernails.

Some facts and trivia about the original song and it's unplugged counterpart:
- Our songs have codenames we use while they're being made.
- "Never Let You Go" was originally referred to as "LoveMeKnot".
- With tight timings, flakey dependencies and technology, sometimes releases don't quite go as planned.
- Due to having to be reupload, the YouTube and Spotify versions have slightly different recordings.
- Some of our songs are years old before they see the light of day. Some are much newer.
- The song was one of the 'later' songs to be released in our original catalog. It was recorded and released in 2022.
- We're both terrible at naming our recordings, which results in some interesting filenames.
- "Never Let You Go" has a file "poopy melody sings.wav". We'll leave you to judge which of the duo was responsible.
- 'Unplugged at the Cabin' is a series of acoustic performances recorded in a cozy murder-cabin setting.
